Michael Lightborne

Michael Lightborne is an artist, writer and researcher from Cork. Based between the weird wilds of North Cork and the mean streets of Birmingham. He has released some albums, including Sounds of the Projection Box (Gruenrekorder, 2018), RING ROAD RING (Gruenrekorder, 2020), and Slí na Fírinne (The Department of Energy, 2022), and his sound work has been featured on BBC Radio 3’s ‘Late Junction‘, BBC Radio 6, NTS Radio, ddr, Lyric FM, Raidió na Gaeltachta, Resonance FM and others.
