From the Déise, based in Cork, Seán is DJ and vinyl collector. Taking inspiration from the early sounds of House and disco. For this show, I’ll be taking you back to some of the earliest sounds of house music coming out of Birmingham in the Uk in the late 1980’s. These mixtapes are recordings from radio and pirate radio stations from the midlands, and are all mixed on vinyl. Expect a mix of house, disco, R&B, Hip house, acid house, lots of drum machines and groovy samples.
