L’Amateur

Nicholas Bertram (known as L’Amateur) is a Montreal-based, Canadian music collector. He has developed an eclectic taste, as he strives to uncover unique pieces that are emotionally stirring for listeners. His interest stems from a liking for classical music and opera, combined with his curiosity about the grass roots club scene that germinated in the seventies and eighties in NYC. Collecting vinyl has offered him the unique opportunity of connecting with and learning from some wonderful people from around the world, equally driven by their curiosity for new sounds.
