Hey what’s the craic I’m Alfie, a Young Cork Man with a love for all things dance music. A bit of a sporadic DJ myself but with a chance now to deliver the goods to your ears directly every month. I’m hoping to serve you up some delectable, dance-worthy dittys. I’m newly based in London so from now on these tunes will be travelling across an ocean to reach you, I just hope and pray they don’t pick up a British accent en route, or get stopped at security for being too dangerous.
The show itself is a monthly series of 2 hour mixes meandering through Disco, House and Electronic with tastes of Dub and much much more throughout. Designed in a smoke-filled laborotory, Silk Cuts will get your arse up and moving and keep it there til your legs give out.
