Without Wires

This show spotlights Cork cellist Kevin Murphy. Anyone familiar with his projects, Seti the First, Slow Moving Clouds, and Blind Stitc, will know he’s a quiet genius.

Kevin is a founding member of experimental groups Slow Moving Clouds and Seti the First, and also performs solo as Blind Stitch. His latest project, Rattling Ark, is an alternative folk group featuring Lizzi Murtough (cello), Thomas Haugh (zither, percussion), and Consuelo Breschi (fiddle). Their debut album, Top of a Mountain, is a standout Irish release this year. In this episode, we explore Kevin’s work, with a focus on Rattling Ark ahead of their Boole Sounds 2026 show at UCC Library on July 23rd.
