Otherworld is a monthly folkore chat and music show, exploring tales from Ireland, Lithuania, and elsewhere.

This month, Šarūnė is joined by Kai Dranchak, an artist and creative producer based in Cork. Hailing from the US with proud Lithuanian roots, Kai brings his passion for folklore and some touching stories to this episode.

We discuss traditional Lithuanian folklore tales of Eglė Žalčių Karaliėnė (Egle the Queen of Serpents), Jūratė and Kastytis (Story of the origin of amber), familial folk stories, as well as our favourite folk and Lithuanian tunes.
