Night Drive

A mix for World Goth Day, 5 days ago on May 22nd, 2026. When I was 15 and living in Texas, friends paid the doorman at a goth night to let me in despite the minimum age being 18. I had found a place to dance out my depression and alienation. Twice a week! The goth culture that emerged from post-punk right around the time I was born has been a part of me most of my life, and I am thankful for it. The doorman got busted and fired for other things eventually - a week before my 18th birthday!
