C'mere to me with Noreen Murphy

Today on Éist we are talking about that magical thing that moves along, soft as a breath, through the ordinary moments, lighting up the edges of every weary day.

Kindness.

I recently bumped in to Paddy Mc Mahon of Mothers First, and we sat on the ground and had a chat.

I am absolutely blessed to know people like Paddy.

Mothers First is a community-based targeted nutrition project in India and Somalia.

Their main aims are to:

(1) Provide nutrition to malnourished pregnant mothers and their children. (Thus breaking the cycle of malnutrition in communities).

(2) Advocate to influence global nutrition policy on the neglected issue of maternal nutrition in global targets and in the Sustainable Development Goals.
