After the break, we have some music from American band, All-Seeing Eyes

Originally formed as a one off party band, they continue to carry that mantle to this day. They have shared stages with the Detroit Cobras, Tav Falco and Panther Burns, John Sinclair, Low Cut Connie and Cedric Burnside. Mixing genres that are typically disparate, such as blues, psych, classic rock and jazz, Thee All-Seeing Eyes have kept audiences on edge by taking unorthodox approaches that are unpredictable and exploratory.

Hailing from the small river town of Dayton KY, the 3 multi-instrumentalists have crafted their new record “Trone des Fleur” (Masonic Records) and are ready to present it to the world. The tracks were all arranged, recorded, and produced by the band at the studio that they built by hand, Masonic Sounds Studio B.

Johnny Walker is a board certified psychiatrist specializing in psychosis and mania. This bleeds through into his guitar playing, as he believes playing live music is a form of therapy for the masses. Being Soledad Brother #1, he has played his own brand of psych/blues/rock for hundreds of thousands of music fans. Dr Walker has played all the slide guitar on the White Stripes self titled first album. He sang for the MC5 on their first European tour in 30 years in 2004. He even backed up John Sinclair in numerous shows while the Chief read prose about blues guitar players. Johnny was asked to reform the Detroit Cobras, playing bass for them while in medical school. He has engaged in many recording sessions including The Greenhornes, Low Cut Connie and too many more to list here. Johnny’s band the Soledad Brothers, was noted to be John Peel’s favorite band, per John’s son. Mr Peel gave them the honor of being the first track on his only curated compilation, Fabric Live, serving as bookends for the comp with the Undertones. That is high praise, indeed. Third Man Records (Jack White’s record label) will also be releasing all the back catalog of Soledad Brothers material in the near future.

Lance Kaufman is a drummer and vocalist extraordinaire. He has fronted traditional rock billy band, the Star Devils for decades. He was the principal engineer for the new Thee All-Seeing Eyes album as well. While holding down the bass duties in the band, Kane Kitchen has done dozens of sessions at Masonic Sounds Studios and toured extensively with outlaw country star Jeremy Pinnell. He has displayed the ability to adapt to numerous genres of music and is a great arranger of songs.

You can get a chance to see them live in Ireland this summer, don’t miss them or Emmet Greene will be cross with me.
