Fahmeda works in the areas of EDI & Belonging, human rights, activism, peace Interagency, communities, Intercultural communications, equality and equity.
She is an independent researcher and a Community Development Officer, passionate worker for equal societies. Member of Network of Ethnic Minority Domestic Abuse and Gender Violence and ambassador of Schools of Sanctuary.
She is the National Volunteer Awardee of 2025: Sheroes Global Social Impact awardee 2025: Cork Civic awardee for 2024, Lord Mayor Community Award winner 2023, National Diversity Award Winner 2024; Intercultural Epic Award winner 2024: Community Service Award winner 2023; All Women Global Award Winner ,short listed award winner of Exceptional Endeavour Award 2024, roll of honour for Exceptional Endeavour Award 2023 and others.
She is a Radio broadcaster, Founder of Irish Pakistani Community of Cork; tutor for Fusion Cooking, a researcher and dialogue facilitator.
Her hobbies include cooking and writing poetry.
Her motto is, “Community is the spirit I thrive in, for and by!”.
