Bloomers x Dlúthpháirtíocht

by Bloomers

Bloomers sat down to chat with Seán Óg Ó Murchú and St Diabhal about Dlúthpháirtíocht.

Dlúthpháirtíocht, translated as ‘solidarity’ as Gaeilge, is a nonprofit, multidisciplinary art collective, primarily consisting of Irish and Palestinian artists. Beginning as a poem, the project grew into an online publication, and then an exhibition in London. The exhibition is now touring Ireland and is currently on in the Laneway Gallery, Shandon Street, Cork until the 17th August.

The exhibition aims to highlight the historical links between Ireland & Palestine as well as exhibiting contemporary responses to what is unfolding in the occupied territories.

Dlúthpháirtíocht is a form of direct action. It is a way that you can interact, learn, and contribute financially to the project, with all profits being donated to Dignity for Palestinians, a charity run by UNRWA doctor Musallam Abukhalil, on the ground in central Gaza.
